I'm just gonna pretend I didn't see that!

Sooo, I've been doing the Tracy Anderson Method for 2 weeks now and have lost about 5 lbs. Sore all the time, and menstral, and occasionally a bit crabby, but it's been going. So I do my weigh in today and I've GAINED a pound and a half since yesterday! I don't eat by her food plan, but have been doing okay by cutting out much of the crap, and I don't think I did anything THAT bad yesterday. So, scale, I'm just gonna pretend I didn't see that!

    Hmm, seems I need to be taking my own advice, eh? Ha!

    Good luck on getting passed the soreness and the crabbiness that so often plagues people along side of that. I swear, it's like the muscles get rude on us and send weird crabby thoughts to our brains huh?

    emoticon The scale does not know everything. 1 1/2 pounds in one day regardless of which direction the scale has moved, is just water weight. Hormone, salt intake, and degree of soreness, are just a few things that can make your scale bounce around in the wrong direction. You're doing fantastic. Just try to stay focused on the big picture. Get your workouts in, and make good food choices, and you'll continue to lose fat, not just weight.

    I've come across that problem as well! There are tons of things that could be the cause of the weight gain and that was a hard lesson that I had to learn. I would end up beating myself up waaaay too much when I saw a gain on the scale number. Since it's a new program you're trying out that could have much to do with it since you're saying you're sore. Your body may still be adjusting to the intensity and everything. Hopefully that's all it is! Give it some time (it's only been two weeks, right?) and keep pushing forward!
