I've been doing some reflection lately. I think what it really boils down to is being honest with myself. And really, I've realized that I've gained a lot of tools to do so. The number one thing is the "gym bunnies," which is a term I fondly use in reference to my gym posse, consisting of my mother and my mother-in-law. Both of whom are beautiful individuals, inside and out. When they decided they would start going to the gym together three days out of the week, I definitely said, "Count me in!" I'm blessed to have wonderful family, both biological and my husband's family, who welcomed me in with open arms long before we were married. We are now rapidly approaching our first anniversary, and I want to look like a million bucks on that day! Working out with the moms has kept me going to the gym at the very minimum three days per week.
I also joined the ten minute streak group, and I fully intend to get into those forums every day and read/interact with the group!
SparkPeople in general has been fantastic. I've been a member a long time but only recently started being an actively participating member. Recording my nutrition and my exercise has forced me to be honest with myself...not to eat too much or too little, and to really see how the hard work i do pays off over time!
Well, I suppose that's about it for now. :)
