The treadmill is definitely getting a workout! I have been on it every day since we purchased it except for one day. My husband is not quite so faithful I don't think. He's supposed to be using it for cardiac rehab but since I still work and he doesn't, that means that I can't monitor him 24 hours a day. Pretty soon we'll get him going on a more regular schedule. I keep trying to explain to him that it would also help his blood glucose numbers, but that hasn't sunk in yet either I guess. I'll just have to keep setting a good example and keep after him.

Yes, they say 10,000 steps a day is the key and that can be broken up into multiple workouts on the treadmill - about 5 miles total. The key to lowering blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure.

You keep doing your thing a give that treadmill a run for the money. All I can say is the nagging is not going to make him move. He has to determine on his own term when to make it happen. My spouse is the same way. I try to encourage him to use a gym membership that he signed up for and has used 5 times.
