Tonight, on my drive home from the pool, you might have thought there was a MAJOR party going on along my road. First I had to stop because there was a doe and a pair of spotted fawns crossing the road - left side to right. I looked over into the field and there were about 15 deer gathered in the field on the RIGHT side. Had barely gotten the car moving again and two rabbits RAN (no, they didn't HOP - they ran) across the road in the same direction. Next came the groundhog rambling along the left side of the road and then ran across into the field too. Drove about 100 feet further down the road and there was another deer walking along the side of the road but just before I got even with it, it jumped across in front of my car. A little further along another rabbit, running - who ever heard of rabbits or bunnies RUNNING instead of HOPPING? A raccoon and a fox both went across before I managed to get home and there was a herd of deer (about 10) in the field by our house. We ALWAYS have critters and often see them but tonight was really strange - I kept having to stop for them. I love watching the critters but I was ready to get home. LOL AND it was funny that ALL of them were going from left to right - I have never seen that before. Anyhow, it gave me some extra time to think and really BE IN THE MOMENT.
I got to really get a great workout. I started treading water for about an hour, then swam an hour, half an hour doing pull-ups, squats, and crunches. Then it was time for the hour long water aerobics class. Then treading water, swimming, and water jogging. Our class was about double the normal size. It was a lot of fun. I saw a whole bunch of people I don't usually get to see. It was a really good day. The pool will be closed on the 4th and closing early on the 3rd and Ed and I have to go into the "big city" over an hour away on the 5th, so today and tomorrow I must work extra hard so I get my total time in for the week - or at least so I have enough FUN to last me until Saturday.
Some may have noticed I didn't change my ticker - my total loss for June is .2 and hardly worth changing the ticker for. IF I actually lose enough by the 4th, I may change it then because I am doing a challenge of 13 pounds in 13 weeks and that ends on the 4th.
I am ready for bed soon and will wish all a great night sleep.
