What a great day. The men from another church showed up to frame in our building. Such an amazing volunteer group. They had just returned from working at West, Texas. One man told me the different between tornado damage and blast damage is that the slabs of houses at the blast were actually moved as well as plumbing and sewer. So everything has to be demolished even below the slab.
One man in his 80s had been on mission trips with this church for 39 years. And he says this is his last. The youngest volunteer was 12 and the preacher's son. Our pastor's son was working also. I took lots of picture but that is for another day.
An amazing woman at our church cooked the meal, and another prepared the bread. I helped with another woman and we all got to talk and found out how different we all are to have turned up at the same place and time. And we are all so glad to be able to serve and worship at this church.
Still not getting enough protein. I am going to break down and find protein powder I can add to my smoothies.
Number 23 of the 71 "trust" psalms. .
Psalm 31:13 - 14 For I have heard the slander of many: fear on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou [art] my God. But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
God bless us with trust in Him against all odds.
