15 Week Challenge

Today is the start of My "Sexy Body Challenge" . I will be focusing for the next 15 weeks on doing everything I can to get a sexy look for our vacation, feeling more confident and losing more weight. I would like to lose at least 62 pounds for a total of 100 pounds lost( in 6 months) by vacation. I'm determined, focused and I do believe it is possible if I keep going. My BIG goal is to be out of the 300's by vacation, but I'm trying to push myself reasonably.

Each week I will be picking something to work on and add it to the last weeks challenge. For example, this week I will be focused on ab work and trying to burn fat from my stomach. Then next week I will add in leg work on top of ab work. I feel ultimately it will help me focus my efforts where needed on top of my regular work outs.

I know what I want and I am more determined than ever to go after it. I really want to start accomplishing some bigger goals and seeing the results. My husband will start training with me next week for the Ovarian Cancer race at the end of September and I feel great to have a training buddy. It will be great to have someone help push me to meet my goals.

July is push month for me.... I usually quit after 2 months and I'm still going. I felt more of a push yesterday and has given me the strength to push forward. So anything past yesterday is more effort than I have ever put in. I'm looking for the part of me that usually quits but cant find it. I would say that that's great but I'm worried somewhere down the road I will quit. But I will just have to wait for it, if it ever comes.

I am trying to do something similar.... So far I haven't lost a lb! Lol BUT I feel like 'stuff' is good generally, maybe improving me in other ways...... Ummmmm perhaps I need to readdress it somewhat. It was a 6 week ummmm concentration for want of a better word, week 4 finishes Thursday, I think I might need to vamp it up! Lol

    First and foremost - WOW! - I just want to congratulate you on all the progress you have made since April! That you retool and revamp your program - e.g., this 15-week challenge - keeps it fresh and new, doesn't it? Adds a measure of excitement and, I would imagine, just the right amount of tension and competition to keep it fresh.

That you've got a loving husband who's anxious to train with you for this upcoming race is even more heartening :) That must feel so reinforcing and supportive! I know from my own experience that to have a husband who backs you 100% can make all the difference, too.

Right now, I don't see any sign of waning interest or anything lackluster that might impel you to quit. In fact, you sound VERY motivated and upbeat! I sense great things happening... emoticon
