Today I did my walk early-ish. It was about 10:30 when I went out, and it seemed cool. By the time we (my son went with me today) got back, it was HOT and my fingers were stiff and puffy. But it was a good walk anyway. We had fun conversations about zombie Apocalypse scenarios and the energy crises and what should be done about the environment. When we aren't bickering, I have so much fun spending time with my son. Too bad he started up again as soon as we got back.
Today's walk was slow (2.5 miles per hour) mostly because I am sore from yesterday's lunges and because I have terrible blisters on my feet. It was a nice walk though. When we lived in Texas, even walking in the cool of the evening was hotter than it was today.
Today's strength training is going to be:
--Dumbbell Triceps Kick Backs
--Seated Dumbbell Concentration Curls
--Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Presses
--Dumbbell Lateral Raises
--Bent Over Rows with a Resistance Band
Today for my Chinese I am going to review lessons 1-2-3, then tomorrow I will start with lesson 4. You learn a LOT in just a few Pimsleur lessons. I do have Rosetta Stone as well, 1-5, but it just isn't as good as Pimsleur.
