I am committing to a year of following the maintenance program of the Ideal Protein Diet. I will plan ahead by stocking my home with healthy, real foods and removing foods that let me obsess about being "bad".
I am committing to exercising 5 days a week and will use SparkPeople to track my life.
Rather than setting a goal of losing weight, I am setting a goal of eating right and exercising - with the hopes that a year from now I will be able to go on The Ideal Protein Diet again to reach my goal weight. By then, I should be well adapted to eating right and exercising - which should allow me to succeed at maintaining my weight.
My ultimate goal is to avoid having diabetes - it has been showing up in my family and I do not want it.
