Well, here it is. My first blog post. I haven't wanted to blog because I didn't think I needed it. I have been a spark member for almost a year now. I started well and then fizzled out. And then I started again and I lost 15#. I have been stuck on this plateau for the last 2 months and I am starting to get frustrated with myself. I know what I need to do. I'm just not doing it. I am not holding myself accountable and I am not trying very hard. I have been exercising and being pretty consistent there but I have not made any changes to my diet. I have a degree in Dietitics and I can't convince myself to make changes to my diet! So I've decided that I need to journal and try to hold myself accountable for my eating habits.
So like all good sparkpeople I am going to set small goals and work towards them. My goals for this week:
*Drink 64oz of water per day.
*Eat 3 servings or more of Fruit and Veggies per day
*Pack a lunch for each work day.
If I meet my goals I will reward myself with a new pair of work pants in my current size. All of my pants right now are at least 1 size too big. I need to celebrate how far I've come and motivate myself to keep going.
