The first of any month makes me take stock and think about where I want to be at the end of that month... and this first of July is no different. The last couple of weeks have been insane - and the stress is definitely taking it's toll on me. Sleepless nights, migraines, lack of energy. You name it, I've got it right now.
So, my first goal for July is to decrease my stress. Yes, easier said than done, but I will work toward that goal this month. Our daughter will be seen at the Children's Hospital - so she'll see the specialist(s) needed and, hopefully, there is nothing major wrong and we'll adjust life to deal with whatever it is. I have travel starting up for work - so I'll be on the road (with the hospital visit added in) at least 1/2 the month.
Goal #2 will be to gain NO weight in July. Ideally, I'll lose weight, but with everything I know the month holds and as much time away from home as AT home, if I can maintain I'll be content with that.
Goal #3 exercise 3 times/week. There will be weeks when this is a challenge (traveling and at home). But I will strive to make this happen even if it's just a 30 minute walk. I need to remember that walking is exercise too - not just running or weights.
So, that's really it for this month. It will take not eating everything I think I want/need when traveling... and it will take a mindset of "no matter what" for the exercise. But I can do it!
