I was wound up from all the activity yesterday: gardening, went to gym, did laundry, picked up around the house, straightened out some papers on my desk, put away laundry, wrote blog entry, rollered cat (she likes those sticky rollers, they're like a cat massage for her). Had trouble getting to sleep, and only slept 4 or 5 hours.
Last night I didn't take the time to prep food for Monday, so I stayed in bed as long as I could, then showered, stocked up my gym bag with workout clothes, and went down to kitchen.
Made a quick smoothie with frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, milk, and stevia, which I drank on the way to work. Packed a Trader Joe Reduced Guilt Mac and Cheese frozen meal, a green salad, fruit, nuts, and cheese sticks. All within the bounds of my goal for today. I logged in all my food so far. I'm not sure about the gym because of my lack of sleep. Maybe I could stop at the condo clubhouse and walk on the treadmill, since it's raining. Or run up and down the stairs a few extra times.
I'm proud of myself that I am eating healthy and drinking water, since I used to find it impossible to stick with a food plan if I didn't get enough sleep. I find now that I feel much worse if I eat junk food to try and boost my energy level.
Not quite the day I wanted, but I'm doing just fine and staying with my plan for today.
