I got out to see Fancy again. She had finally shedded quite a bit of fur, but still had a lot so I body clipped her. Didn't do too got a job, but at least she won't be as hot. I got quite a bit of walking in getting things ready. I didn't know where the outlets were, to plug in the clippers, so that was one trip to the indoor barn and back. Then I went and got the clippers (trip 2) and then went back and got Fancy (trip 3). I ran into Monty and found out there was a better place to clip her, so I moved again, but not as far. Fancy has been there since the end of September and I am just finding out where things like the outlets are. Heck, as I left I realized I still don't know Monty's last name. Now, that's bad.

I have finally got some things growing well in my garden. I don't know if any of the plants that are grwing well are cucumbers, of which I planted two kinds, but I have several squash and zucchini plants growing now. I got a fairly large pumpkin plant (small pumpkins, though I hope not the tiny ones) that almost died in one day, but is now doing great, and a new chili pepper plant that I hope will grow fairly fast since it is Big Jim and not the smaller peppers. I need to get something to hold that plant up on so the peppers aren't on the ground when they start growing. The tomato plants are growing pretty well now, too.

When I went after antifreeze for my truck I found a nice Sweet Basil plant and an Oregano plant. I had the Basil before and it died and my oregano didn't sprout, so I am trying to get them going again. I think that I have the watering about right now (I hope so).

Don't know about the rabbits. Something dug the end of the garden again, but digs from the garden to out into the lawn. There is something eating my chili pepper plants, though. There is very little left of either jalapeno and they have started on the Anaheim and possibly the Big Jim. I have an organic spray for bugs. I'm not sure if it is bugs or what.

Your garden is looking good! Before you know it you'll be harvesting some great food. Better start collecting zucchini recipes now. emoticon
How is your battle against the rabbits going?
