I'm still SO SORE from my 5k on Saturday. Ouch! I am excited to be going on my three week trip on Wednesday because for some reason, I have been kind of obsessing about the way I look lately. I guess I just want results really fast and the first week kind of made me unreasonably hopeful that I would lose fifteen pounds a week (haha - totally unhealthy dream).
I went to a waterfall yesterday and climbed around and swam a bit (the current was nuts). Then I went for a walk with my cousin and sister last night. It was all pretty low intensity. My legs are just killing me.
I have a lot of stuff to catch up on. Working two overnights this weekend and continuing to have a full schedule really messed up my sleep, which I recognize to be important in a weight loss journey also.
I am still eating according to my plan - no slip ups in 18 days. I need to recognize how amazing that is! Ugh and not to mention that my kitchen is filled with a graduation cake, cheesecake, Italian cookies, and all other unhealthy junk food.
It amuses me to think of all the unneeded calories and carbs that I avoid when I stick to a plan. I would have probably been sick from all those treats if it were 18 days ago. I'm glad to be where I'm at today!
