Half the year is gone already?!!

Today is July 1st and officially half of the year is gone. Six months = poof! Every year that I put up a new calendar, it seems like I take it down faster and faster each year. I praise God that He has kept me healthy and has given me many wonderful gifts even though I have had what feels is more than my share of testing in the past couple of years. But He knows what is best for me and will always keep His promises to me no matter what! Even when I don't keep mine to Him.
Getting dressed to go out yesterday afternoon, I put on one of my favorite shirts and had to take it off again. It was so big, it just hung like a tent and was very unflattering. It is one of my favorite shirts. Now most of my shirts still fit, but I am excited that some of them are starting not to fit. The thing I am dreading is having to buy new bras because they are a huge expense for me. I have to buy from specialty stores. They are NEVER on sale, and are about $50 or so each. I have noticed they are starting to be too big also. But it is so worth it!! I can't imagine being able to go back to Dillards or something and buy a regular sized bra again!
I love exploring the awesomely healthy recipes on the Spark website. Where you can save the ones you like, I am old school, and still like to write my favorite recipes down. I threw away almost all of my cookbooks and recipe cards that weren't 4 x 6. I am collecting those that are healthy with the exception of a few desserts. I always kept them in file boxes and one day I had an idea to buy 4 x 6 photo albums of the same size and store them in the photo albums. That way they are protected by the plastic sleeves and I can have a different book for desserts or main dishes, whatever. It is working out fantastic. With my analism, I would love to have them alphabetically, but that isn't feasible since I'd have to rearrange every time I add a new recipe, so I am trying to cope with having them out of order lol.
Hoping you are having a fantastic day today.
