Off Work

Today is our regular day off from work. Yesterday I told my husband we will be walking when the sun goes down. He said we can get up at 6 am and walk. It is now 8:30 am and he is still asleep. It's okay though. I have my Wii games and exercise videos to get my exercise in. Yesterday, while my husband took a nap, I did the Wii Tennis and Sword Play. It was a good work out. Today I'm going to try the Gold's Gym Dance Workout. My plan is to still get out there and walk when it cools off.

    AWESOME JOB! The news folks are saying that we need to be really careful when exercising outside. Make sure you stay hydrated. Waiting until it gets cool is another idea they suggested. Sunscreen and hat are also on the list of things to do. Keep up the good work!

    Its so hot these days, that I enjoy my exercise DVD's when I can. I have a Wii Fit game , but I have to get down to the weight I gained in order to use the board again, it is great exercise. Plus I just got gym membership and a trainer that is really good. Hubby likes the gym, now like you only if I can get him not to sleep in some days. emoticon

    I'm glad you found a different way to get your exercise in! Wii games are great exercise and I know Wii fit has a bunch of balance oriented games too! That's something I need to work on...maybe I shall get in the habit of playing it more often!
