So I hit a plateau for a bit but finally broke past it. I went from 262 to 258 which is a pretty good amount to lose in a week. I was 257 yesterday but since it's been so hot I've been drinking lots of water so my body is very well hydrated today hence the slight change in weight. I'm going to go for a walk soon before it starts getting hot... it's supposed to be 92 today.
We are going to Chico on Wednesday until Sunday morning and it's supposed to be 106+ the entire time we are going to be there. I don't do well in heat so I'm going to try my best to stay cool and drink plenty of water because the last thing I need is to become dehydrated or have a heat stroke.
So far so good on becoming healthier. My goal is to be 220 by January 2014 which is a long way out. If I keep doing what I'm doing I should be able to reach that goal. My ultimate goal is to be 200 as my final weight but it all depends on how I feel. I'm not going to be "skinny" I don't want to be forced to adhere to an outdated system known as the BMI chart... it's completely inaccurate in my opinion and since my doctor approves of my weight goal I'm okay with my choice. I'll let my numbers do the talking... I'll be going in for blood work in the fall to check my metabolic panel again and to be tested for diabetes and check my cholesterol. As long as those numbers are doing good that's all that matters.
My blood pressure has also improved... it was never really high to begin with but it has been steadily getting lower. I went in to donate blood a few weeks ago and they checked my blood pressure and it was 127/80 which isn't that bad. Oh and I also found out what my blood type is B- one of the more rarer blood types since only 3% of the population has that type.
