Today was workout one.

3.5 Miles in 61 minutes and 502 calories, so about a 18 minute pace.

I honestly thought I wouldn't make it past the first mile, but once I did, it went by pretty fast.

Biggest issues were my own self consciousness about being simultaneously the youngest and fattest person there, the lack of a good sports bra, and the gallons of sweat pouring off of me. It was really gross.

This is day one, so I have the most motivation. I know it is going to be hard to get myself going a LOT of days. I am by nature a very lazy person, but that really isn't an excuse. Once I am there, I do it, and I feel great the rest of the day. It's just a matter of getting my ass off the couch.

I told my kids about the race, and they think it's pretty cool. They like the idea of me getting muddy. My little one was upset that I wasn't muddy when I came home from the gym. Silly boy.
