With summer here I haven't been doing so well, but I'm making a conscious effort once again.
I got some new sneakers last week because I realized I quit going to the gym because my feet were hurting. So, I grabbed some new sneakers and FINALLY made myself go to them gym yesterday. I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical. I'm going to strive for 45 today.
I also have some really good things for my lunches and breakfast this week.
Oatmeal for breakfast, a chicken breast in some chiavettas marinade (a buffalo favorite), a salad with some cucumbers, cheese, crutons and italian dressing, some grapes, an apple and a banana.
I'm going to try to keep it to one can of pop today. We'll see how that goes.
I've been checking my blood pressure regularly though to help myself get accustomed to the feel of the cuff on my arm in hopes of decreasing my anxiety over it. And it seems to be working. I don't get as worked up as I used to and am able to actually get some decent readings.
Let's hope I have a positive week full of exercise, healthy food and positivity!
