I decided to get out early this morning and get my walk in but as I walked down the driveway it was spitting rain and the clouds were black and moving pretty fast. I hesitated but did not hear any thunder or see any lightning so I decided to go around the small block - about a 10 minute walk. I did that twice and then stretched to include the next block and all the this time it is still just spitting drops here and there. I walked back toward home, stopped at the mailbox and did some leg stretches and then walked the other way and came back so I got a good 45 minutes in but I was never more than 10 minutes from the house in case the skies opened up. I think it is just going to be one of those days.

It has rained here most of the day, off and on.

I agree! I was going to take the puppies for a walk this morning but it was lightly sprinkling. They are a little jumpy so I opted to play with them inside instead. Now, as I look outside, I wish that I had decided to take the walk. It still hasn't fully started to rain. I think I'll go to Walmart and walk up and down the isles!

emoticon I probably would have taken it as "a sign from God" and skipped it.

I'm glad the weather was cooperative. It's pouring here today, so no walk. I'm not feeling THAT outdoorsy. LOL

emoticon I've done that before, too. Close enough to home in case the rain gets worse or the thunder/lightning starts so I can get out of harm's way!
