Another Month Bites the Dust

Hello Spark Peeps!

Just a quick check in this morning...

My goals for the last couple of weeks of June were to work on consistency by exercising 20 minutes a day and drinking 80 oz. of water a day.

How did I do?

emoticon I actually forgot to write it down a couple of days, but from what I did log, I got 80 oz. 9 of 16 days. Most of the other days I did journal were at least 64 oz., but since I didn't track, I don't really know.

emoticon On the fitness streak front, I did a much better job of writing things down... I did at least 20 minutes of cardio 14 of the 16 days.

emoticon for that!

I haven't decided on my July goals yet, so I'll think on that this morning, and let you know what I come up with...

In the meantime, I'd be curious to know what you're goals are...

    It sounds like you are back on track. I have been bad about tracking food, and I have gained back two pounds. I am taking some medication for my allergies that can cause weight gain so I need to do a better job of tracking my food and walking more frequently.

    emoticon Sounds like you did pretty well on your June goals!

Keep up the good work...

For me personally - I think my July goals will be to up my cardio to a minimum of 45 minutes 5 days a week, I've been pretty consistent at 30 for 4 days a week and I do one yoga class a week for 60 minutes. and to work on more protein every day!

Here are my goals - sweet and simple, just not EASY.

1) Six hours sleep minimum every night. No fixed bedtime, just 6 hours non-negotiable.

2) At least 3 different veggies every day - portion size doesn't matter, just gotta get 3. Spinach counts, lettuce doesn't.

3) I have been stressing over housekeeping on the weekends, and the solution is for me to take care of business all week long, like I'm supposed to. I get so hung up in the kitchen that I burn out on all the other little tasks. I'm delegating the kitchen crap to the 3 parties who MAKE all the mess and getting the heck out of there!
