This is definitely not an average week!

Monday, July 01, 2013

Yesterday, our friends' wedding. Wonderful day, wonderful time, great company, great party--and two people in love joined together. It's beautiful.
My evening class starts today, 4 days a week for the next 5 weeks. That means that I'll miss yoga class 4 days a week for the next 5 weeks. I hope I will have the self-discipline to come home at 8 pm and practice.
Three day work week, between the holiday on Thursday and taking off on Friday to go to the weekend yoga workshop. Heck of a time to be missing classes...further incentive to keep up my solo practice.
Oy, then getting home late Sunday night and going to work and my class on Monday.

I also find it so hard to commit to practicing at home when I can't make it to less. Usually I'll do a whole 5 or 10 minutes and then stop. Hopefully you'll have more success than I do! =)

Enjoy the class...sounds like a lot of fun...

I will admit I am a bit scarred of yoga....we offer yoga at work and a company called yogaworks comes in to instruct...I signed up 4 years ago...I was doing down dog and the instructor told us to touch our cheek to the floor, I cracked my rib...ouch!!! I really want to try yoga again but I am afraid...

Any advice?
