Time to stop the creeping!

Well blog, it's been a while, but the important thing I guess is that I am here right now and dedicating myself to make the change I need.

Life has a funny way of 'getting in the way', but if you really think about it - it's still up to you - your choice - to LET it. In the past half a year or so I've gotten married, went house hunting, found and bought a home with all the moving shenanigans and boxes and bubble wrap - living on take-out for TOO many weeks only because well, moving throws kinks into 'cooking healthy'.

Ultimately, the pounds started creeping. Creeping back.

THAT.

STOPS.

NOW.

The boxes are unpacked. (Well mostly, haha there's of course some strays in the basemenet). The wedding is over. Things are settling back to 'normal'.

Which means it's high time to get my ass and my ass-size back to 'normal'!

Starting out is always the hardest, but I am making a list and checking it twice - I have done this all before, so I know I can. I KNOW I CAN. Once the routine hits it will be easier.

So today, I start back my routine.

July - you will be a kickass month.

    Congrats on getting married!

I gained some weight after marriage because I was eating what DH ate - and I just can't. I have to eat lighter and less - and once I started doing that, I lost weight.

    Welcome back!

I moved back in March and my trainer asked why my diet sucked for a couple weeks and I told him the same thing...hard to eat healthy when your kitchen is packed up!

    emoticon emoticon emoticon It is good to know when to stop the slippage and when to start healthy habits- me also, I am returning from 3 years at school and have been repairing my home and the home of a friend whose husband died... I have her basement dumping ground almost all done- we have to organize people to pick up collections and recycling. and I have my attic to do after cleaning the house- with only one more room to go- and I went on a walk today and am drinking my water- out to get the front lawn in shape...we can do this together...

    Great attitude!! I'm right here with you - letting the last several months get the better of me but knowing that NOW is the time to take back control.
