The way we see

"A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, hearing within him the image of cathedral. " Antoine de Saint -Exupery

Did you ever wonder why some people have an harder time at life than others.? They always complain . They always say why does this happen to me? I think God is mad at me. I'm the only one suffering here. My life really sucks.

Then you have a friend who has had three deaths in the family this year. Her daughter has cancer . Her husband has lost his job. When you talk to her she says things like God is good. My husband will find a good job soon maybe a better one. My daughter has cancer but it is curable it could be much worse. Life is good.

It is all about how you look at you life your life can only be as good as you make it.

Yes we may be overweight , we have medical problems , financial problems, and we may need to learn to eat better. But that is no reason to give up or in and say life sucks. Life is what we make it. So if we get off the couch and try hard and eat right and get healthier life will get better. It is all about how we see things hugs

Working in a hospital with people that are terminal has given me a much better appreciation for how wonderful life is! Whenever I think I am having a bad day, I meet someone that is having an even worse day and I then think, no life is good, buck up! Thanks for sharing this perspective with us and prayers for your friend for her husband to find a good job and for her daughters cancer to be cured!
Hugs, Holly emoticon

Is the glass half full or half empty? Some of us have an easier time seeing the positive in life than others. My mom definitely had an influence on my ability to see the good in life, but I do feel bad for those who have not had this positive role model and have to learn it on their own. It is not always easy, but it is definitely worth the effort.

emoticon blog. I have come to realise
that there are always people worse off than me
and that I should be thankful for what I have.
Thanks for a great reminder. emoticon

So true to be thankful for what you have. God is never mad at us! He is always near to us but we have to call on him when we are feeling down.
