I am thrilled that I have made it to my goal weight of 140! It has been a long 21 month journey of ups and downs. I got rid of 47 pounds and I hope to never see them again! I have been on this journey before. This time I think I have a greater knowledge and appreciation of what needs to be done to maintain.
We go on a couple of cruises a year and I gain an average of 1 pound per day that we are gone. It is what it is and I cannot make any excuses for it. My goal is to lose 5 more pounds before the next cruise so I do not get so upset with myself when we return. My maintenance program is to stay between 135 and 140. Is it possible? YES! Will it be easy? NO! But I KNOW I can do it!
For those that are wondering ( I often did) I do have a little bit of a stomach. I feel like it look like I'm 3 months pregnant. When I was dedicated to doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred I was seeing great results in that area. I do need to tone up. This will be a crazy week (altho what week isn't?) and I will try my hardest to use my dvds. I will definitely start after the 4th of July, if not before. O.k., I put it in writing so I HAVE to do it, right?
