This past week has been full of challenges and uphill battles.
At work we had two more of our care staff quit, leaving us short handed. I have not been able to clock out until almost 11 at night, when I am suppose to be out of there by 10. Then I have a 30 minute drive home, and when I get home, it is shower time, some computer time, and then it is off to bed. Lately with the hot weather here, I have had problems with trying to fall asleep. Thank God my husband is going to buy me an air conditioner for my bedroom on Monday.
My oldest son's medication has not been working effectively as of lately, so we went to the doctor on Wednesday, and he changed his dose of Adderall and his Intuniv. Hoping this will start working soon. Had to take my husband to the doctor on Tuesday for his 6 months check on his high blood pressure. The doctor increased his blood pressure medication. Having a hard time getting my husband to eat during the daytime. I keep telling him that he needs to eat at least 6 small meals during the daytime, not eat a sandwich while I am at work, and then eat a heavy meal when I return home from work at midnight. I am hoping to be able to get him away from his video games on Tuesday and get him outside, and off to the lake with the boys and I.
My other two boys have been typical 5 and 7 year old boys. Who enjoy going outside and exploring. They have managed to bring me an array of goodies from our yard this week. Flowers, frog, and a dead squirrel. My five year old has been trying to catch the rabbits that have been coming into our yard. It has been a joy to watch him, try to catch one of those rabbits.
Through everything going on this week. I have managed to keep my head held up high, I lost another 2 pounds, I am now able to fit into 24W pants, and I can fit comfortably into a 3X shirt. I would say probably another 15 pounds and I should be able to get into a 2X shirt. My goal for the end of the summer is to be into a 20W pants. Have a blessed week everybody.
