People tell me I知 lucky being married to a chef. I just say 16 years and 60 lbs later I知 not sure! The only consolation was that there were a ton of dishes to do.
I知 afraid to get on the scale to tell you the truth. I hooked up my fitbit scale and pedometer to the dashboard so no cheating on that. My hubby quit smoking 3 weeks ago which is great. But he痴 been cooking which is bad. His concept of portion sizes needs to be adjusted. There have been a few too many empty calories coming from beverages of an adult nature, so those are going to stop.
For example, last night痴 dinner was
Spaghetti and sauce (with fresh parm of course)
Fried mushroom caps
Broccoli with prosciutto.
I only had a bit of each but still - not a great food choice. During the week, dinners are much more reasonable - mostly because we're both too tired to cook. It's coming into canning season again, so I'm looking forward to putting aside lots of fresh fruits and veggies.
Today is laundry day so there will be a lot of stairs from the top of the house to the basement (28) where the laundry is and back again.
This weekend my plan is to get my budget in place and a lifestyle change plan in place. I want to have one go up and one go down ! I bought the new Spark People book and need to get into it.
