this sunday's 12 mile run -- 4 parks and 3 of them different from last week.

Sunday, June 30, 2013

the park around Notre Dame, Luxembourg Garden, Tuileries Gardens, and the Botanical Gardens. quite a bit warmer, and the garmin strap definitely needs to be fixed. low heart-rate run, and quite slow (especially with stops to try to fix the strap -- i ended up carrying the garmin the last 3 miles -- and a broken traffic light where cars never stopped coming!). great run.

Wow- that is a long run!! Good for you!! Sounds like a nice scenic route for you!! Sorry your Garmin strap stopped working! I hate getting around traffic, especially with our biking! Happy running! emoticon emoticon

Wow, that IS a long run! And in hot weather too...I'm in awe! I like what Galloway says about just slowing down when it's hot and/or walking a bit more. I've also started wearing a wet bandanna around my neck - it cools me off really nicely and lasts for quite a while. Plus there's always the fashion statement, I definitely color coordinate... emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sorry about the garmin frustrations. Thanks for sharing your running route. It's very exciting to see someone's running route in a far-away place.

Is this a crowded area to run in? I'm remembering my visits years ago.
