sliding half way toward goal

I try to keep motivated by checking my goal progress regularly. I know that the scale number is deceptive and can be crazymaking. It depends more on what I just drank, ate, fullness of fluids and colon content, and the mood of the scale that day and hour.

I look at two numbers the first day of the month and the last day of the month and try to focus on them, although naturally I am effected by all the numbers in between.

I have been sliding toward my goal pretty much on track. I should be 198 by the end of July. that should take me solidly out of the obese category for the first time in about ten years or so. I am still committed to getting to 175 by December. I am expecting the second half of the year will be much more difficult than the first half.

SP tools and fitbit have been a great help. The other indispensable help is the support from friends and team members here. Thanks for your help and hints.

I do think I will hang here and be a SP user for the foreseeable future. Maintenance of the goal weight, BP, Blood levels is really what it is about!

    It's the long graph that counts. All those days will add up to be months and years. The daily weights will blur into yearly weights. Look Long!

    100% right about the scale - as a former slave to the number on the scale, I know how BIG that number can be mentally. Once I got more fit, leaner, I dont rely on the scale at all to tell me how I'm progressing. Whew! (-:
Dont'cha just kinda LOVE the people of Spark? There to help, motivate, inspire (-: We're all on this train together, might as well get up in the conductors seat and toot the horn a little hehe!!
