How much did I kick butt today? Let me count the ways. I ran/walked my first 5k in 44:40. I may have been the last "runner" to cross the line, but I'm pretty proud of that time considering I have never been much of a runner. Then I hula hooped and played volleyball. I was super active on like two hours of sleep (I had to work an overnight last night and have to work another tonight. Bleh)
I'm not happy with the lack of sleep, but I am happy with the physical activity. My endurance has been at an all time low this time around, but I'm working to combat that and challenge myself in new ways, which in turn makes me realize just how amazing my body is. It is a gift to be able to move, dance, walk, coordinate. I need to remember what a blessing my body is.
Oh and I've been sticking to my Primal lifestyle when it comes to eating. I went to my aunt's last night and actually had to deny any of the food because it was all coated in breadcrumbs. I'm alreadty getting compliments on the weight I lost. I can get down to my goal weight by next summer!
