My Promise

Saturday, June 29, 2013

A while ago I made a pact to my emoticons that I would write positive blogs and try to not write negative blogs or be the Debbie Downer! That said, today's race did not go as planned! I preach about flexibility so I went with the flow. To say the least, I completed it and I won't go into the negatives of my day or the race in my efforts to remain positive and keep my pact with my old emoticons I made and now new emoticons like you!

I want to emoticon ALL emoticons for your continued support! Below are some pics!

BEGINING...WE ALL LINED UP

AT THE START LINE...RIGHT END FIXING MY BAND BEHIND THE LADY IN PINK

AFTERWARDS

It was a race to support Black Colleges (HBCUs) and my under eye patches read "GRAMBLING" to represent my HBCU- Class '02.

Love, you finished. You WHOPPED everyone watching from the sidelines, cheering from the couch/computer, and those who slept instead of running.

We are often our worst critics. You did great, you are doing great! Keep up your consistency and remember to encourage yourself!

No negatives for you - you did great. You finished and that is FANTASTIC! Think of all the people you know who didn't even try.
