I love fresh fruit!!! This is the season here in sunny Ca that the Farmer's Markets are open and beaming with a large supply of fresh fruit. Some of the ones I enjoy are, strawberries, plums, peaches, oranges and nectarines. I am on Weight Watchers and can only eat a certain amount of points a day. Most foods have points but fruits are free.
I have been enjoying my fruits and losing weight. I have lost 6 pounds since joining Weight Watchers a month an a half ago. I am a binge eater and find that to know I can eat fruit when ever I want has helped me to not over eat. I know it is my choice to over eat or not but having little tricks like that help me.
I eat a balanced diet of lean meats, whole grains, low fat dairy, vegetables and fruit. I eat a regular 3 meals and one or two snacks a day. The amount of calories that I eat are in the range sit by Spark People. I track my food in a food diary and here on Spark on the nutrition tracker. I run a daily report checking to see that I get the nutrients I need every day. I check to make sure I am eating right.
I love my fruit and try to make sure I have some in the house all the time. Some days I run out of fruit before I can get some more and on those days I am like a junkie surching for a fix. Nothing makes me as happy as a fresh piece of fruit, yum yum.
