I had a great holiday with my sister and we decided to do a round of Cura Romana together for mutual support, so although it is the coldest part of winter I am on drastically reduced calories. I was questioning the wisdom of this, especially on my return to work where we had a bake off and a day of marvelous foods arrayed in the tea room. Followed by a cake brought in to our team workroom by a workmate. And it's been stressful at work, really busy for me because of my week off! Argghh I thought, I could do without dieting at this particular moment!
But actually, no.
It is winter, where naturally we want to eat more to keep warm. Plus when I am stressed, I reach for something to eat.
It is a REALLY GOOD time to not be turning to food.
First, because I am going to skip right past the risk of accumulating winter weight in 2013. Yay! And moreover, I am going to release probably around about 10 kgs before spring! Double yay! And I have ducked the temptation of a heavy week of work food treats. Triple yay! And maybe the cold weather will help me to burn up that unwanted weight even faster. Y... OK that one is a little far fetched. But, here's a biggie, maybe I will reach my goal weight this year!
