Water vs Soda!!

Saturday, June 29, 2013

I was one of those people that loved sodas, especially mountain dew!! I would drink a mountain dew in the morning and then another for lunch. Yes I had no control over soda, then I joined spark people and it taught me not to drink soda to many sugars among other things, so I thought well I'll drink a diet soda but all the stuff in those are just as bad,
So now I drink crystal light and water love water!! I especially like the cup on the spark page when it over flows!!!
Now I found this and thought I would put it up to help other soda addicts!! Be strong my spark sisters and brothers nothing will stop us!!

I just enjoy my Diet Pepsi and drink it sparing, not even every day like I used to. Water has become my drink of choice and I do, start and end the day with it! It does make a difference and everything in moderation! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I used to used crystal sport until they changed to aspartame and that is one sweetener that I will not use and will not use artificial ones at all

I agree with you. I've not had a Pop (soda) in 6 yrs. I don't miss it. Thought I would cause that was ALL I drank.

Good move to drop sodas! I'm glad I don't carry an extra 13 lbs.from sodas. Water is much cheaper. I like the zero calorie Propel in individual packets. Kiwi-strawberry is the best. emoticon Cheers!

Great job! Great steps to getting healthy! I also sometimes enjoy the powdered peach iced tea mix (it may be Crystal Light or something similar) and if I get the craving for orange juice or something one of those orange "morning" flavors keeps the calories down too. Usually I try to stay away from too many artificial sweeteners though, I decided that after drinking a diet coke one hot day made me feel SOO sick until it got out of my system... I tend to like Stevia for being natural (except it's gross in coffee, has a sort of tea-ish flavor).

Anyway, doesn't it feel so good to be getting healthier? emoticon emoticon

Small changes make big differences over time. It works both ways.
