My first ever blog!

Everyone has to start somewhere, and I am starting right here. Today is day 4 of my get-in-shape for APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test for you non-military types). I am good with the pushups and situps, but my run time sucks. So, I am running, slowly and painfully. Tonight I am running 2-3 miles after doing some weights at the gym. The big problem is - 100+ degree temps, even at night, and the never-ending omnipresent sand. Oh well - still have to run! On that note, good night ya'll. I am off running. I'll cough up the sand later...
