I have been super MIA. oops.

-completed the half marathon I wrote about late last year. ended up walking most of it. but I finished. and got my Tiffany necklace. recovery was a b*tch. seriously, it was rough. at times scary. but. here i am. i made it.

-got a new job. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WANTING FOR ALMOST A YEAR. and it happened. hard work pays off; don't ever be afraid of it. i'm working in a role that is more related to my interests, with more leadership, and with a more comfy paycheck. (i don't have to worry about paying my bills now. that's amazing to me.)

that's really it, HAHA.

my next steps:
-I would like to join a gym. there is a gym within walking distance of my condo. i have been wanting to join for years, but the cost has stopped me. the gym gets rave reviews, and has trustworthy trainers. next week, i plan on stopping in for a tour, and likely signing up. if i don't sign up next week, i will sign up the following week...honestly just waiting for my next credit card billing cycle.

-I will likely be quitting my part-time job...I love that place, and I love the people, but for my own sanity and well-being, I think it is time to move on. my new job gives me plenty to do, and the schedule can change suddenly based on client needs. on top of that, if I join the gym, I want to have TIME to go there. this is one solution. I may quit after august, as that is my 4 year anniversary there.

and now I'm tired and can't think to write any more. awesome!
