I am having trouble tracking my food and staying within my calorie range. I know it is important to do so that I can keep losing and also so I can learn to eat in a normalized way. So I have decided to try to take a few minutes each day to blog about how it goes. I am lucky to have the summer off work so I can commit to exercise and working the program each day, so I want to get my head around this tracking each day and make it work. I did reach my first goal this week that I set in January. I made it to 164 which was what I weighed after I came back from hiking across Spain two years ago. It feels good to reach that milestone. My next goal is a shorter one. I want to reach 157 by the middle of August for two reasons. I have a wedding to go to and at 157 I will be one pound below the obese weight and into the overweight weight. I haven't been there in about 20 years. So tracking food and keeping it in my range will be important to get there. I don't have trouble exercising. I have always liked to get out and be active. So to do this, I need to keep my menu's simple. When I cook more involved meals, I get frustrated trying to figure out how to track it all. Blogging and tracking my food, that will be a streak I will begin tomorrow and hope to not miss a day from now untill I hit my next goal. Wish me luck!
