The best laid plans of mice and men! LOL

Didn't get to the painting like I'd hoped. My ex never came by this week to finish spackling the wall so I could so....I worked in the yard instead and though I waited till the sun had gone down, I was still sweating like a stuffed pig! Which is good! Still have laundry and litter boxes and dishes to do...just to begin with....but I've still got two days left to do that as well as tackle the mountain of paperwork I've been avoiding. Best to get to it and make a dent in it now. No telling when I'll get a chance like this again.

Additionally, got my new schedule yesterday and for the fifth time, my supervisor has scheduled me for late on Friday. Just so happens that is my Bunco night. In the past, if it didn't interfere, I worked anyway, but this is the only Bunco for the entire summer. I don't understand why she keeps doing this. You'd think they'd have a program that would flag them when they schedule during unavailability times, but it doesn't work that way. My supervisor told me I didn't have it on my availability hours but I know I do and had it checked to be sure. She's just not checking correctly and I've heard more than one person complain how she's messed up their schedules.

Hopefully, telling her that the Saturdays I ask off are after my Bunco night will serve as a reminder. In the meantime, I've put my Friday night on the "swap shift sheet" (try saying that three times!) and hope someone picks it up...though I hate losing the hours but it is what it is.

I feel that way with my bowling night. We need at least one night for play, don't we? emoticon -- Lou
