I started my stay at home vacation about an hour ago. I have great plans. I plan to clean each room of my house, getting ready for a garage sale. Tonight, I am going to focus on putting the clothes away, and some purging of the closet. Saturday, I will focus on the laundry, bathroom and green room. Sunday, I will focus on the living room and kitchen. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I will focus on the office- which is really just filled floor to ceiling with stuff we didn't know where to put it when we moved in. It's been 5 years. If I haven't needed since then, I can get rid of it. I am going to use the four containers system. 1) garage sale. 2) trash 3) clean and put away. 4) donate to the daycare. Other plans that are healthy... I plan to cardio in the morning, and water aerobic in the evening. I am going to follow my meal plan, and stay within calorie ranges as outlined in the Spark Solution. It's week 2 for the challenge. tomorrow I am going to the farmer's market, and plant my new herb plants. I'm also going to staples and getting file folders. I have asked the husband if I can be in charge of the mail and paper bill that come into the house. At this point, we get the mail, and put it on the table for him to deal with, and then it piles up, gets moved a couple of times and is generally messy. He hasn't paid attention to anything domestic since starting the daycare in April. So, I've asked if I can take over the paper dragon. I'm going to set up a filing system, where I have a file for each month, and then files numbered 1-5. When I open the mail, I will file it first in the month that I have to deal with it. At the first of the month, I will sort it out to which week, 1-5 corresponding Sundays that I have to deal with it. Then, each Sunday, when I meal plan, grocery shop and do chores, I can clean out the folder for the week and deal with it. I'll also file away certain things that routinely come in the mail. Being new to this, not sure what labels I will need files for. Most of our bills are paid automatically, and we go paperless. Doing the mail should help me pay attention to the budget, as well. I want to pay more attention to what goes out then I do now, usually spending until he says I've reached the limit. Once I clean out the office, I can set up the file folders on the desk in there. I also want to work on my healthy journey scrapbook this week. Great plans! Good intentions. I will spark daily, to see how I'm doing on the week's projects.
