C25K

This will be short as I have to go pick up my daughter and get her ready for her baton performance for our minor league baseball team, the Lake County Captains.

I did my first C25K workout today. Holy moly! Even after I got out of the shower my face still looks like a tomato. Anyways, it was rough and just when I was about ready to give in, the voice said, "halfway point" and I thought, "Oh, thank God!" I kept going. It's rough and may take me way longer than I expected, but that's ok. The point is that I do it.

    You can do this. I did C25K three years ago, did a couple weeks twice before moving along to next week. But it's now three years later and I have run two 5K's this month and am training for Falmouth Road Race (7 miles) in August. I love it. And just to let you know, I didn't attempt this until my 48th birthday. If I can do it, so can you. Good luck. emoticon
