I woke up this morning feeling bloaty & fat. Not really sure why. I didn't weigh myself, but yesterday I was still within my "range". This might be a little TMI, but I think I'm starting menopause (or perimenopause). I've been experiencing the hot flashes & irritability (more than normal!) and a few other "symptoms".
Of course I "googled" the "symptoms" or "signs" this morning and one of them was weight gain (and mostly in the middle section). Now, I haven't gained weight, but I feel my "middle section" is puffier than usual. It could be a little water retention from the extra sodium I ate last night. Who knows?! I just feel fat today!
I took DD#1 to work and DD#2 to a sleepover yesterday. DH called to see if I wanted him to wait on me to go running. I had run on Wednesday and wasn't feeling it yesterday, but I told him I would go with him and walk (he was going to the hilly trail). Even though DD#3 had been hiking & swimming at camp yesterday, she wanted to go too and take the dog.
It was very hot & humid! I walked about half the loop with DD#3 and Dog and she then went into the dog park (with Dog) and I continued to walk. I walked a loop and 1/2, which is about 2 miles.
By the time we got home and grilled, it was almost 8 pm. We got finished just in time because a big thunderstorm came in. It didn't bring any relief because it's hot & humid today.
I have to pick up DD#3 from camp and DD#2 from sleepover after work. I'm hoping DD#2 will want to run in they gym since she didn't do anything yesterday. DH should be home and we'll drop off DD#1 at work and go to the gym.
I'm not sure what the weekend will bring. I hope the heat & humidity doesn't make me too lazy! Of course the grass needs cutting, but other than that, I have no plans.
I just hope I don't feel fat!
