Movement is Life

Friday, June 28, 2013

Today, I walked around the lake for my break. It is a 1/2 mile. It was hot out and my lower back was hurting, yet I did it...this makes the 3rd time in almost 6 years. My neck and back have been so messed up...I had not even tried lately. I have been going to the Chiropractor for 2 months so I decide to give it a stroll......I did it....here we come 5K emoticon

Trying, within reason, is half the battle. It's all about the small steps (without neglecting doctor's orders) done consistently. I was just through your fair city today as I traveled between SW Florida and Northern Wisconsin with my brother who needed to get back to Milwaukee. Glad to feel closer to my Spark friends. Have a great week! Hug, hug -- Evelyn

Good for you! A half mile is HUGE! Especially when you haven't done it regularly!

I find that stretching after a walk really helps my back... Have you tried that?
