Oh lordy, am I tired today...Paul woke me up at 3am after he had a bad nightmare, and then he wanted to have a huge conversation...existential blight...I sympathize, but do we have to do this at 3am??? Took me forever to get back to sleep, but of course I was dead to the world when that alarm went off. Managed to drag myself out of bed, and even got 10 minutes of running in (2-min increments), so I am actually pretty proud of that.

I am just beat. And I'm bummed because I thought I would finally have a weekend where I don't have to go in and work for at least a couple hours, but no such luck, as my day is half booked with meetings already. And tomorrow we're supposed to meet up wtih my cousin who's out here on vacation. I really want to see her and her family, it's been at least 10 years, but trekking down there yet again (after all the trips we've been doing to clear out my parents' house) is really not appealing, plus I'm having a heckuva time coming up with a good place for us to daughter is 9, hers are 13 and 16, and my mom is in a wheelchair...kind of limits the options of what we can meet up and do! And she has nixed everything I've come up with so far. Argh.

Anyhow, the good news is we're trying to wrap up everything for our last hearing by the end of the day Tuesday, which means I might actually be able to take Friday off like everyone else in this building is planning (we get Thurs off regardless, of course). I could SO use a four day weekend! And thankfully, we have nothing planned for that weekend, though we need to start getting ready for vacation - we head to the River on the 13th, woo hoo!!!!!

Well, better get to it. Happy Friday!
