We're in a camper van. Small. Every chore becomes an exercise - in juggling, space creating, strength training, even cardio.
To make the bed:
First move items off the benches and into the cab of the van. Also move luggage from the floor, and pack into the cab. (ST)
Next, take the table apart and set the pieces aside (ST). Then, open the benches and pull out the boards for the bed. (ST)
Now, move the cushions, and place the table between the benches - add the boards along the end to fill in the gap. Place the cushions back on this filled in space to create the bed. (Juggling - balance!)
Make the bed - take the sheet and crawl to the far end of the bed - tuck in the sheet, rolling from one side of the bed to the other, tucking as you go. Tuck in the sides while crawling backwards. Climb off and tuck in the end. Throw the pillows to the far end of the bed. Unroll the sleeping bags, shake out, and arrange one or two (weather depending) on each side of the bed - if you miss, crawl to the end of the bed and re-arrange the sleeping bags. (Truly cardio!)
Finally, go off to the rest room to wash up and finish getting ready for bed.
