It's been a long time since I last posted here. I just wanted to let you all know I'm doing fine; I'm still maintaining my 30-pound weight loss, working out regularly and making healthy food choices.
Honestly though, the past couple of months have been extremely tough for me for personal reasons I'd rather not share here on my blog, but suffice to say that I'm currently going through a very tough time and I'm doing my best to take good care of myself despite this very stressful and chaotic situation. I realize I need to put myself first now because that's the only thing that's going to keep me sane, healthy and strong enough to face the challenges that are sure to arise.
That being said, I want to start losing weight again. I'm extremely proud of myself for maintaining my weight for over a year now (I've never been able to do that before so it's a HUGE DEAL!) despite some very difficult and stressful things that have been going on. Right now I feel like I'm ready to recommit to weight loss again because I think that would give me the sense of control and power that I so desperately need in my life right now. I also know that this is the time to really focus on giving my body the rest, exercise and healthy food it needs to have the energy to overcome these challenges I'm facing. I'm going to take it slow, no rush. Just one healthy step, one meal, one workout and one pound at a time.
That's it for now, I guess. I just wanted to let you all know I haven't gone anywhere. I've missed hearing from you and reading your updates and blogs! I have some catching up to do.
