Why are we sometimes our own worst critic, especially women? Tomorrow is my weigh-in day, but I went on and weighed in this morning, because it's going to be a busy weekend. I am down to 144.1 pounds. Instead of celebrating a 3.7-pound lost as well as being able to fit into a size 10 very comfortably, I was looking at my thighs and became disgusted. I can't stand the cellulite! Ugh! Then, I had to shake this thought right out of my head, because I have to continue to remember how far I came. I started this journey at 182 pounds and now, today, I'm 37.9 pounds lighter. That's close to a 40-pound weight loss! This is a huge accomplishment for 6 months. My thighs may not be where I would like them to be, but they are not as big as they use to be. Additionally, I am close to reaching my 142-pound goal for my Spring to Summer challenge, which is the actual weight on my Driver's License. LOL!
So, Stevie, stop being your worst critic and remember how far you came from this same time last year! You may not be exactly where you want be, but you sure as heck aren't where you use to be! Go Celebrate & Stop the Criticism!
