I decided to start a kind of Journal since I've started SparkPeople. I thought it would give me a chance to take time to reflect everyday, and give me time for myself. It only takes a couple minutes but It's been really helpful to compare how I've done depending on the day.

The things I record include: how many glasses of water I drank, if I've tried a new fruit or vegetable, how much sleep I got the previous night, and my fast break goals. I also take time to write down one thing I love about myself and one good thing that happened to me that day. Then I record are my SparkTeam goals, whether I took my medications. Last, I use up/down arrows and check marks to sign how I did in the different nutrition areas.

It may seem like this is sort of tedious, however, it's actually been really helpful on keeping me focused on this whole thing and it's a lot easier to do than trying to just write reflections everyday!
