Update on Varicose Veins

Thursday, June 27, 2013

I decided after a talk with my daughter-in-law who had the Varicose striping with the wait list if it isn't to long I am going to do. She said she only had discomfort for a couple of days. The wait list then was 2 months. I can wait as long as it isn't longer than a year.
Called the doctor to let him know. He had answering machine on so I wasn't able to ask what the wait time was. If it is too long then I will do the laser which will cost me. I would rather use the money on renovations of our new home.

Doctor office phoned Friday and the wait time is 6 to 8 months which is fine with me. He said I would probably be sore for a couple of weeks but I figure if I keep up with my exercise and walking I should be in good shape. He said they want you to walk right away the same day as the surgery to get the circulation going.

Why the big hurry? They will still be there later, might as well get the freebie and use the money where you want it! 2 months wait is nothing, you should see the wait for orthopedic surgery, never mind the 'efforts' to reduce times. It would be interesting to know which type of surgery causes the least discomfort. I heard it can be pretty painful getting it done.
Good luck with it!
