I am doing good so have decided to move on to a higher level. I am about to take up a new challenge; not eating after 6pm. Yes, it has being in my thought for some time and I had actually tried it sometime back but lost interest after a while.
I have discovered that my eating habits are excellent until late at night when I am studying or doing some other things. At this period of the day, nibbling goes haywires!!! Everyone knows that when you are up late at night, either studying, researching, watching movies, or whatever, you would definitely be nibbling something unhealthy. Hardly does one eat an apple at midnight. It ice cream, Chips, or some other creative fat-enabler.
So, do I have to continue this way? No!!! Especially when my parents raised me with good examples. I recall that my dad eats very early dinner. I can't remember him ever eating at late at night. The latest I can recollect is 7pm. No wonder he is still well and agile at 85 years!!!!
My challenge is to have my last eating by 6pm daily. I know it's not going to be easy, not with temptations, especially parties. What I have decided is to maintain my stance but give concessions to parties. Parties are not everyday so, I can do this.
So July is my trial month. I need to do this and I plan to succeed.
