Day 4 of the Spark Solution
Woke up easier this morning. Liked the breakfast cookie well enough to eat it again. Opted to ride my bike this morning instead of walking, but stopped after 2 hours due to the heat index being over 90.

Did NOT like the Miso(less) Orange Chicken for lunch at all. Not sure if it was because I couldn’t find any miso, or if it was the frozen veggies. I prefer fresh. I forced it down, but never again.

Fixed the One Dish Dinner: Southwestern Chicken and Rice for supper. We loved that one, but I’m confused. I thought the dinners were all supposed to be 4 servings, but the recipe in the book said 6 1-Cup servings. I measured everything very carefully, and ended up with 12 1-Cup servings, so I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to eat 3 cups, 2 cups, or 1 cup??? 1 cup was not filling me up at all, so I opted for 2. May have over-eaten, but who knows? The texture thing was an issue with me, so I skipped my afternoon snack so that I could have an ounce of baked tortilla chips with it. There is more than enough left over for dinner again tomorrow.

Although still rather tired, I did manage to stay awake today. Due to the heat index being in the 100’s, I cut back on my exercise some. I decided if I already have 120 minutes of exercise in, and at least half of that is cardio, I am not going to keeping worrying about how many steps I get in. So instead of the extra afternoon session of exercise, I cleaned out and organized a closet and 2 of my cabinets. If the temps fall below 90, hubby and I will take an evening walk. Right now it is extremely humid, without even a breath of a breeze, so we may skip it tonight. For prep tonight, I'm going through the fridge and pantry and revamping next week's shopping list so that I don't spend on anything I don't really need.

Over all, I consider my day a success.
