crazy week

Thursday, June 27, 2013

Wow! I am so glad this week is almost over! Not that I would trade it for any amount of money, but I have been busy this week. I have been babysitting my baby nephew and niece for almost 11 hours a day 4 days this week. The kicker, I live an hour and a half away! I have been leaving my house around 5:30 every morning and getting home around 7 that night. It's been a long week! My mom has been at my sister's working for my sister's business, so it has been nice spending time with her too. I have eaten out every meal for the past few days because I have been traveling so much and my mom and I took the kids out to get their lunch, except for today. Today we had alphabet shaped chicken nuggets and mixed harvest veggies. My nephew, who is 1, has become very attached to me. He prefers me to my mom, which is surprising. My niece, 2, isn't really as attached. But, she has enjoyed having me there. It's been a nice week, but exhausting! I plan to sleep in tomorrow and do nothing but write my paper that is due Sunday for my doctorate program!
